On Wednesday, students Max Power, Evan Phillips, Hannah Howard-Jones and Mabel Tucker travelled to St Mary's Moruya where they competed in the stage 2 Competition.
A spokesperson for the school said, “The judges commented on how close the competition was with only nine points separating the 24 participants from highest to lowest score.”
“Each student spoke extremely well and the judges commented on the wonderful speeches and how difficult it was to award the winners.”
Then on Friday Max Chaplin, Nikolas Gay and Montanna Chamberlain travelled to St. Patrick’s Cooma to compete in Stage 3 of the competition.
“Everyone spoke very well and is expected to keep improving each year as they continue to practice their public speaking skills,” the spokesperson said.
“Congratulations to all students and thank you to the parents for their support and transport help.”
