A barbecue dinner is planned for Friday night for a gold coin donation and there will be a full canteen on Saturday.
If people wish to stay on Saturday night, they can camp at the showground and the Delegate Hotel puts on a great meal.
There are about 30 open teams with about 90 riders plus children entered from the Monaro and East Gippsland.
There are some great prizes thanks to the generosity of sponsors Danny and Lana Jamieson Bendoc, Sharp Fulgrabe Bairnsdale, Gordon Litchfield Wool Cooma, Glen Mia Saddlery Bega and The Delegate Cafe, South East Rural Cooma, Norm Talbot Transport Delegate and the cattle donors Greg Walker and Ron Flanagan.

Golf
The Bombala lady golfers played a Stableford for V. Jones Trophy on Wednesday. Eva L’Estrange had a very good round winning with 40 pts. Well done Eva. Balls were won by Betty Crawford 39 pts and Di Ingram 36 pts.
Members played a Stroke for the Monthly Medal pm Saturday. What a day weather wise with gale force winds, the only good thing was it was hot. Considering the conditions the scores were good. Pepper Thompson won on a c/b from Phillip McIntosh 71 nett. Balls went to Pepper, Phillip Ray Crawford 74 nett on a c/b from Merv Douch.
Sunday was the Heavy Haulage Challenge. Again the players had to contend the strong winds. Coming from behind Bombala managed to win the Shield. Scores were Bombala 68.45. Tathra 66.4. Nimmitabel 65.95. Congratulations boys. Winner of the day was Phillip McIntosh with 42 pts. Ball Winners were Phillip 42, Joel Cherry 38 pts, Clay Stewart 37 pts, Jim Haylock 37 pts, Bill Buckley 36 pts, Wayne Elton 35 pts, Ray Crawford 34 pts, Rob Howland 34 pts, Col Gronow 33 pts, Tony Brady 33 pts, Ray Fermor 33 pts, Daryl White 32 pts. Despite the wind all enjoyed the day and the meal provided by the ladies.
