Bombala recorded less than half of its average rainfall for September this year, with 14.2mm of rain for the whole month. 

Last month is now the driest September Bombala has experienced in the last decade.

It is in stark contrast to this time last year, when Bombala recorded its wettest September on record, with 90.8mm registered at the Bombala automatic weather station. 

The average September rainfall for Bombala is 34.7mm. 

The wettest month in Bombala this year was March, with 76.6mm  of rain recorded. The driest month so far is July, with only 10mm of rainfall.
