The Dunn sisters of Delegate came home with a swath of ribbons after competing in the 10th Annual Berry Inter-school Equestrian Championships over the October long weekend. The program included dressage, hacking, sporting, show jumping, hunter and a three phase inter-school challenge.

Georgie Dunn was the Overall Champion year four; Overall Champion Show jumper Primary with Georgie winning all three jumping events. She was also Overall Champion Sporting Primary, first in the Hunter Challenge Year 4 and first in the Pairs with her sister, Mackenzie.
Georgie had the fastest time in four out six sporting events overall in the primary section while Mackenzie was the fastest in one of those events.
It was the Delegate Dunn girl’s that took out five fastest times in the sporting events.
Mackenzie won Overall Reserve Champion Show Jumper Primary. Mackenzie came second to her sister on two occasions. In the Sporting evens Mackenzie came first in the Western Bend, Snakes & Ladders and Scudahoe year 5 with the primary fastest time in the western bend. She also came second in her rider class, first in the Pairs with her sister Georgie.
Golf
Bombala lady golfers played a Stableford for Club Trophy on Wednesday. Some of the ladies struggled in the heat that they aren’t used to yet.
Joy Douch was the winner on a c/b from Heather Brown 38 pts. Balls were won by Heather and Gay Kennedy 35 pts.
A couple of the Bombala women travelled to Eden for the Ladies Open Tournament on Sunday. Heather Brown came home with a trophy winning the Longest Drive in her division.
It was a quite weekend on the course over the weekend with many attending the Bombala races on Saturday and some travelling to Coolamatong for the Open Tournament but came home empty handed.
Saturday was a Stableford for J Ingram Trophy. Phillip McIntosh was the winner with 37 pts. He also won the ball.
Golf program
The ladies play a Stableford for Club Trophy on Wednesday and on Saturday and Sunday, October 28 and 29 the Coolamatong Open.
On Saturday, members play a stableford for the Cattle Dog Trophy and on Sunday a Stroke for the Monthly Medal. It is also Cooma Men’s Open Tournament. Duty Roster Saturday Steve Tatham.

The final of the minor singles sponsored by Tags Inside and out was played on Sunday, October 22. In a very close match Neil Brotherton sneaked over the line defeating Coopy Baker 31 to 30. Congratulations to both players on a great match.
