In its 25^th year, the Bombala Bike Show keeps getting bigger and better and this year organisers have been working hard to bring you even more entertainment.

As always, the Show'n'Shine competition offers the chance for you to show off your beloved toy and maybe win one of the spectacular trophies and some cash prize money.

There are 14 categories and it only costs $5 per entry.

Another hit at the Bombala Bike Show is the burnout competition and this year it has a total of $4,000 in prize money.

There are two categories the 600cc and under, plus the 601cc and up. In the 601 class first prize is $2000, second prize $1000 and third prize $500 while the under 600cc has a first prize of $500. 

“This year the burnout is being judged by individuals instead of crowd participation,” Bombala Bike Show secretary Sam Newman said.

The bike show has heaps of entertainment for the kids as well with a jumping castle, rides, sticky wall and the airbrush tattoo competition.

Entry to the bike show is $15 adult and $5 for kids which includes a wrist band for free selected rides all day. There will also be plenty of food and trade stalls on site.

Entertainment on Friday night is ‘Frock’n’Troll’ from 6pm into the night and on Saturday night there are three bands booked to play – the ‘Chris Harland and the Blues Band’, ‘Justice Bureau’ and ‘Rock Or Be Rocked’.

A Triumph Thunderbird Storm is being raffled with tickets available through the Bombala Bike Show website until Friday night, then tickets can only be purchased at the showground before the raffle is drawn later on Saturday afternoon.

For those of you that remember Sandy Harbutt's timeless 1974 Australian cult film ‘Stone’ about a bunch of renegades riding Kawasaki 900s; the characters Cindy and Zonk will be at the bike show for the Blue Ray release of the movie.

“We will also have the TV/Internet series Bikers Lifestyle previously known as Temporary Australians coming along to the show to film the first episode in their new series starting next year,” Ms Newman said.
