Farmers in the surrounding areas are asked to do a head count of their stock, and report to Constable Marks or myself if they suspect any of their stock is missing.
Constable Marks and I have stepped up our patrols around the surrounding areas, and remind people we will be stopping vehicles late at night and in the early hours of the morning.
We would also like to ask the community to keep an eye out if any suspicious activity is taken place, whether it may be vehicles parked in strange areas.
If this is the case, it would be appreciate if people could get a description of the vehicle or even registration details and forward it to us.
Also, a quick reminder to the community to please respect our local facility, such as the skate park which was kindly donated to the Bombala community.
If people wish to use these facilities, I ask them to please leave them the way they found it - thanks in advance.
Don’t forget, incidents can be reported through Police Assistance Line on 131 444 or for Emergencies please contact 000.
