A mix of Bombala Lions, members from neighbouring Lions clubs, partners and guests made up the 47 people in attendance.
A delightful meal was provided by the Golf Club ladies.
Following a toast to Lions International by Mayor Bob Stewart, in which he recognised the efforts of all Lions Club members and the valuable input such voluntary groups make to our community, our newest member Kylie Thompson was inducted by Mr Farmer.
Bombala Lions are very fortunate this year to be welcoming four more new members to its club.
The newly elected president, Lion Graham Hampshire, gave his address to the group in which he highlighted his desire to complete work on the walking track as well as attracting new members so the club can continue to grow and provide the services to the community currently being done.
Any member of the public who wishes to become a member of Lions please come contact President Graham Hampshire.
It really is good fun to get together and serve our community
which sits nicely with Lions International’s motto “We Serve”.
