On Saturday, the Bombala RSL Bowls Club hosted the Craig Elton and Past Players Men of League memorial bowls days.

About 56 people showed up for a day of fun, raffles and bowls.
Organiser Tom Herbert said that he was really happy with the support they received on the day.
“We’d like to thank everyone that came along to support the day and the RSL Club,” he said.
Golf
On Wednesday, the ladies played a Stableford for a club trophy. The winner on 35 pts was Joy Douch and the ball winner was Betty Crawford 34 pts.
Members on Saturday played a Stableford for club trophy with the winner was Ray Fermor on 44 pts.
Ball winners Merv Douch 41 pts on a countback from Pepper Thompson 41 pts. NTP was Ray Fermor on the 7th.
Sunday was a 4BBB for J Cherry & P Thompson Trophies. Winners were Pepper Thompson and Merv Douch 46 pts. Ball winners Leon Jones and Phil McIntosh 45 pts and Korie Elton and Brendon Weston 44 pts.

Ladies: Wednesday (today) Stableford for Club Trophy and on Saturday a Stableford for Club Trophy.

Members: Saturday, March 18 Par D White Trophy. Sunday, March 19 Stroke for a monthly medal.
Reminder to members: Saturday, March 25 pennants at Coolamatong. Sunday, March 26 Foursomes Championships, 27 holes 11am tee off.

Bowls
On Sunday, March 5 the pennant side travelled to Tura Beach who were too strong at home winning 61 shots to 39, 2 rinks to 1, earning 9 points to 1.
The Monaro Shield side hosted Nimmitabel at home winning 71 shots to 73, 2 rinks to 1, earning 4 points to 2.
On Wednesday, March 8 social B Beileiter and R Dent def A Dent and Chris X 23-17.
On Saturday, March 11, the annual Craig (Reggie) Elton Men of League Past Players Fundraiser Day was well supported by 56 players keen to hit the greens and enjoy the great companionship that was on offer.
Lots of laughter and a great barbecue after the game proved the day was a complete success.
The RSL and Bowling Club looks forward to hosting this event again next year.
