Netball
The Bombala District Netball held the grand-final of the Term 1 comp last Tuesday. The Netsetgo game was won by the Vixens over the Giants 3 goals to 2. Coaches award winners were Lily Hampshire, Ruby Smith, Zara Brotherton and Damon Niven. Encouragement awards went to April Kimber, Kyra Niven, Jenaya Tonks and Stephie Power.

The Juniors game was also a great game with all players showing off the skills they had learnt though out the season. Fever 19 were winners over Thunderbirds 4. Annie Green was awarded Best and Fairest while Ariella Moro, Natalie Vincent, Jayda Ford and Briony Brotherton received coaches awards and Jiyu Lee, Sophie Wood, Mabel Tucker and Courtney Harty received encouragement awards.
The Open netball played first to the post saw the Pearls winning against the Silver Ferns. Thanks to everyone who helped out.
Golf
The Bombala women played the second club medal and putting for R. Hood Trophy on Wednesday. The winner was Joy Douch with 71 nett. The ball and putting was won by Eva L’Estrange 77 nett with 30 putts. On Saturday the members played a 4 Ball Agg Stableford for Peter Ingram & S Tatham Trophy. The winners were Ray Fermor and Wayne Elton 75 pts from Glen Hampshire and Phillip McIntosh 73 pts. These chaps were the ball winners. NTP Leon Jones.
Sunday was a Bisque v Par for a club trophy. After a great discussion on how the game was played Westy advised all he would explain it before hit off. Merv Douch who commented that he had to come back didn’t think he could play so bad two days in a row was the winner with a + 10. Must have known he couldn’t be handicapped on this round. Merv won a ball and Brad Yelds also won a ball with +5. No one hit the sand on the 17th.

Bowls
Sunday, April 2 - Pennants Bombala travelled to Merimbula to play them on their new carpet greens and came away with a close and hard fought victory, winning shots 68-65, rinks 2-1 earning 9 pts - 1. Wednesday, April 5 – B Beileiter played swinger A Dent and Chris X def K Callaway and J Adamson 24-13. Saturday, April 8 - Major singles semi final a good game between R Joseph and C Elton with Spec narrowly beating Snake after 36 ends 32-28. This sets up the final between Kyle and Spec.
