Those in attendance used the Expo as a great opportunity to network with other community and business minded people from all corners of the Snowy Monaro region. From the Tinderry Community Mountain Group to the Delegate Progress Association, the crowd stretched from one end on the Snowy Monaro to the other.
There were a number of exciting launches on the day. The new Snowy Guide app was released and it generated plenty of excitement. If you have a smartphone, go ahead and download the app. The Snowy Guide app has an extensive range of regionally important information, and is very easy to use.
Council has unveiled an exciting website, in addition to the current one, that is set to provide a whole new level of engagement with what’s happening in your community and within council. The Your Say website (www.yoursaysnowymonaro.com.au) is an interactive space that lets you engage and help guide your region’s future.
At the moment, council is asking for your help as we put together our Community Strategic Plan. This important document takes in the community’s views and hopes for the region, and I’d love for you to head along to the above website and fill out a survey that will shape the CSP. Hardcopy surveys are available at all council offices.
