What do you think Reduce, Reuse, Recycling means?
As an individual student or as a class, Council would like you to draw a bright and colourful picture with a slogan illustrating what recycling means to you, your community and your environment.
Students can enter a drawing or painting showing how the residents of the Snowy Monaro region can reduce waste and promote the message of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
You could also show the benefits recycling has on our environment: Cleaner waterways (happy platypus), cleaner bushland and playgrounds.
Who Can Enter?
The competition is open to school students who attend any school in the Bombala and Delegate area.
The winner will have their artwork placed on the side of the Waste and Recycling collection vehicle that collects the kerbside waste and recyclables in the Bombala and Delegate area.
How to Enter?
Drawing/illustrations should be provided to Council on an A4 sheet of paper including the school and artists name, age and best contact details on the back of the drawing so we can acknowledge the winner with the prize and public recognition.
Entries can be received at council offices in Bombala or they can be posted to:

Competition Closes:
The competition closes at 5pm Thursday, December 14. The winning entry will be announced prior to the school holidays and all entries received will be displayed on council’s website. The winning artwork design will win a “Buddy Bench” made from recycled plastics for your school.
