Two community meetings are being held today (Wednesday, December 13) to inform the public about upcoming Council heritage projects in Bombala and Delegate.

Council has recently commissioned two heritage projects for the Bombala and Delegate area.
- A heritage study to investigate sites of heritage significance throughout the area of the former Bombala Shire and to preserve examples of the community and region’s history.
- A main street study to preserve of the historic streetscapes of Bombala and Delegate and inform work to continually improve the presentation of these areas.
Council’s consultant for the project Pip Giovanelli will be leading the meeting. Pip will provide an overview of the projects and what is hoped to be achieved. Pip will also discuss how community members may get involved in assisting with the projects.
The meetings are on Wednesday, December 13 at 3pm-4pm in the Delegate School of Arts and 5pm-6pm at the Bombala Community Centre.
