An information night will be held at Twyford Hall in Merimbula on Monday January 15 and auditions will commence Wednesday 17 and Monday 22 January.
It is Spectrum Theatre’s first Youth Production of its kind, director Amber Little said that experience isn’t necessary.
“There will be singing, dancing and acting, it is going to be very colourful,” she said.
Auditions are open for youth aged 10 to 18 where every role has support.
“It is an ensemble production, everyone in the show is supporting each other – even the lead role has support.
“It will give everyone an experience,” Ms Little said.
The production has 10 performances that will be begin in May.
Ms Little is looking forward to scouting the talent and expects a good turn out at the auditions.
“There will be exciting roles like the villains and magic carpet, there will also be the classic ‘whole new world’ scene,” she said.
“We do like to give everyone a go but it will come down to the numbers.”
