The organisations have been holding the Australia Day breakfast since January 2011 and it was the first joint effort between the service clubs and the Car Club.
Initially the clubs joined forces to raise money for the relief and recovery fund for the 2010-11 Queensland floods.
Cooma Car Club representative, Ian Hampton said, “That first breakfast had strong community support that has continued over the years and this year the Car Club, Legacy and Lions Club have agreed that the funds raised would be donated to the Louie Mould Appeal.”

Twelve-year-old Louie Mould known for his love of rugby league and the Cronulla Sharkes was named the Cooma Colts U12’s best and fairest award last season. Now Louie is laid up in the Westmead Children’s Hospital after fracturing his C3, C4 and C5 vertebrae in a trampoline accident that almost took his life.
“The Car Club and the Lions Club wish to say thank you to Richard and Ros Mack of Mack’s Auto & Tyre Service for their generous donation towards the breakfast,” Mr Hampton said.
“The Australia Day breakfast is a great way to start off a busy day of Australia Day activities, or can be simply going out for a good cooked breakfast at the start of a ‘chilled out’ holiday.
“Following a tradition since 2016, at 1pm there will be a ceremonial cutting of a birthday cake in memory of the late Lion John Field,” he added.
The venue is the Car Club Clubhouse, 2 Bolaro Street Cooma. A full breakfast will be served.
