The club was saddened to learn of the passing of Charlie Miles. Charlie loved his golf and for many years was very involved with the club. He was a committee and handicapper, he worked tirelessly on the course. When the Mill closed and Charlie transferred to Eden he continued with his golf and giving his time volunteering at the Eden Club.
Our sympathy is extended to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We were also sorry to hear of the passing of Anthony Roberts who was a very keen member of the Delegate Golf Club. Many of our members had a round of golf with him and was a real character.
Our deepest sympathy to his family.
