Ten riders were there to practise their riding techniques in preparation for the upcoming Delegate Show on Saturday, March 3.
Spokesperson for the club, Melissa Kidd said the day was highly successful considering the heat.
“The 10 riders were split into two groups depending on their ability and age.
“The two groups worked on different activities throughout the day.
“Activities included jumping, flat work, road rules and hand signals.
“The riders also discussed the importance of protective clothing and when and where to ride.
“Riders class and a few other mounted activities kept everyone interested,” Ms Kidd said.
Pony Club riders finished their day with some game activities in preparation for the upcoming Delegate Show, where Delegate Pony Club plans to hold a funkhana ring.
Delegate Pony Club will hold their next rally day Sunday, March 4, 9.30am gear check with a 10am start. Any new riders are welcome to sign up at any of the rally days.
