While the morning’s weather wasn’t ideal, the sun shone at just the right time for the family event.
The Easter egg hunt was hosted by Bombala Rotary in partnership with Powers IGA Bombala.
Rotary’s Geraldine Dyer said it was a fantastic day.
“It all went very well – they had a ball,” she said.
Ms Dyer said all the children should be commended on their exceptional behaviour.
While the initial idea was to hold the hunt as a relay so everyone got a fair share, Ms Dyer said that wasn’t necessary.
“They were all so well behaved. All the children took it upon themselves to make sure everyone had equal amounts, sharing with their friends and relatives,” she said.
In other Easter news, Bombala Public School is hosting its annual Easter hat parade and giant egg hunt on Thursday, March 29, in conjunction with Harmony Day activities.
