There was a tennis clinic in Delegate on Saturday morning that was made possible due to sponsorship funding from Snowy Monaro Regional Council.

Thirty children braved the blustery, windy conditions while having a great time, and learning some fantastic new skills and games. The day would not have been so successful without the enthusiasm and expertise of Maree Coates and Joyce Reed.
Su King from the Delegate Tennis Club said, the Tennis Clinic was decided to help the children become more familiar with actual comp games, and came off the back of the successful tennis season of lessons made possible through the Delegate Tennis Club.
“The future of tennis in Delegate has a strong future,” she said.
Golf
Bombala Golf Club ladies played a Stableford for Club Trophy on Wednesday. Di Ingram found a little form winning with 38 pts. Balls were won by Joy Douch 37 pts and Gay Kennedy 32 pts. Di and Joy both had shockers on the 16th losing balls and wiping the hole. NTP 7th not won. Hats off to all players who were brave or stupid to take to the course in the terrible winds experienced over the weekend.
Saturday members played a 4 BBB Stableford for S & M Ingram trophies. With players needing to play their Match Play games the program was changed and the Mixed Grill is now on Saturday.
The winners were Korie Elton and Nick Ryan 46 pts from Wayne Elton & Mick Brown 40 pts. These chaps were the ball winners. NTP: 17th Ray Fermor. Match play results: Korie Elton & Nick Ryan def Joel Cherry & Clay Stewart 3 & 2. Merv Douch def Ray Fermor on the 20th Hole.
Sunday was a Bisque v Par for Club Trophy. The winner was Brad Yelds on a c/b from Leon Jones and Pepper Thompson +1. Balls were won by Brad Yelds and Leon Jones with Pepper missing out in the c/b. NTP: not won.

On Saturday, April 7, 73 junior rugby league teams converged on Bibbenluke for the 53rd annual Junior Rugby League football carnival.
