Bombala RSL sub-branch president, Rob Letts said the Dawn Service at Bombala starts at 6.15am at the Cenotaph.
“Following the Bombala Dawn Service, breakfast provided by the RSL will be served for all the attendees at the Bombala RSL Club, as is customary,” Mr Letts said.
“The Bombala Main Service will be preceded by the march led by the catafalque party from the Australian Defence Force Academy Precision Drill team carrying old fashioned 303 rifles who will step off at 11am and march down Maybe Street to the Cenotaph.
“Bombala Student Representative Council president Georgia Jones will deliver the Occasional Address and the padre this year is Father Mick MacAndrew.”
Mr Letts added: “Community groups and families are most welcome to lay wreaths at the 11am service.”
President of the Delegate RSL sub-branch, Phil Pope said the Dawn Service in Delegate starts at 6am at the Delegate Memorial Gates.
“That will be followed by gunfire breakfast on the veranda of the Delegate Hotel,” he said.
The Main Service at Delegate is at 11am at the Memorial Gates with the march forming at the Cenotaph and starting at 10.45am.
“The marchers are to muster at 10.30am before they march to the Memorial Gates,” Mr Pope said.
He added: “The order of the march will be current servicing military first, ex-serving military second followed by the descendants and other civilian groups.”
Lunch will be served at the Delegate Country Club with bookings essential. Bookings can be made at the RTC or by contacting the sub-branch.
A courtesy bus will be leaving the Delegate Hotel at 12.30pm and will return after lunch.
“In the event of rain the service will be moved to the School of Arts Hall,” Mr Pope said.
