Snowy Monaro Regional Council is expecting a further 18 Stronger Communities Fund (SCF) major projects to be completed by July 2018 with local towns and villages benefiting from the addition of new recreational facilities, and enhanced public spaces.

The projects set for completion encompass the installation of new drinking stations in Bombala, Cooma and Jindabyne and improvements to public health assets such as cemeteries and pounds.

As work progresses on the delivery of the SCF Major Projects, locals are already taking advantage of the 13 completed projects. Among the projects that have been delivered include the installation of solar heating at the Berridale Pool, improvements to for maintenance work at the Nimmitabel Cemetery and new seating at the Delegate Sportsground.
