Narooma held the sixth annual HuntFest hunting and outdoor expo over the long weekend with president of the South Coast Hunters Club Dan Field saying the event was very successful.

“It was another great family event that brought a huge amount of tourism to the area to help the local economy,” he said.
“We gave away over 510 show bags to children at the expo and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
“We put over 300 people through the archery container which raised $509 that will be donated to CanAssist in Bateman’s Bay,” Mr Field said.
A presentation dinner was held at O’Brien’s Hotel on Sunday night where the winners of the photographic competition were announced.
Over 500 entries were received in the photographic competition with the winners in each section receiving a plaque and a Cannon camera.
Mr Field said we also recognised five of our youth volunteers for five years of volunteering their service on various HuntFest stalls.
