Bombala Public School’s Makyla Price was the winner for her three minute speech about ‘Bugs’ and Jemima Merritt also from Bombala Pubic received the Encouragement Award for her talk about ‘My Pop The Stolen Generation’.
The adjudicators were Alison Poeschl, Michael Dyer and Rob Letts from the Rotary Club of Bombala who sponsored the evening and also presented a cheque on behalf of Rotary for $600 towards the Year 6 Melbourne excursion.
Master of Ceremonies was Jak Cuttle with Primary School Principal’s choosing the Encouragement Award. Thanks also to the Bombala High School’s P&C for an excellent supper.
