This week’s Golden Oldie was taken back in 1981 and is of a Bombala Basketball team. Do you recognise any of the players? If you do we would love to hear from you.
Last week’s Golden Oldie was of the 1946 Bombala First Grade Rugby League Football Team. The players were:
Back row: Noel Courtney, Jim Ingram, Laurie “Tubby” Wilton, Herb Reed, Bob Perkins, Bill Reed and Albert Piesley.
Front row: George Savage, Des “Chiddy” Bedinfield, Kevin “Bluey” Wilton, Earl “Bob” Elton, Jock Johnson, Auck Lomas and the gentleman in suit remains unknown. The ball boy is Don Sullivan.
