The students dressed in their favourite costumes to participate in the workshop where they examined their own family heritage and drew comparisons between families past and present.
The morning began with rotational activities where students worked in groups learning about and investigating the evolution of toys, indigenous toys, as well as mathematical and literacy based toy games.
After recess the students watched Toy Story 2 and the afternoon was spent making toys.
“It was an opportunity for students to develop social skills, friendship and sharing,” staff said.
