The Mobile Service Centre offers access to essential government services including Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support to rural Australians – all on board a 20 tonne mid-range rigid truck.
Golden Wattle is operated by specialist staff from the Department of Human Services who provide friendly face-to-face service, information and support tailored to each community.
Staff can help with a range of services, including lodging Centrelink claims, Medicare registrations, providing access to online services and offering free hearing checks on board.
Information about Department of Veterans’ Affairs programs and support services for veterans and their families will also be available.

Nimmitabel on Tuesday, July 17 from 9am to 11am, located at Lake Williams car park, Monaro Highway
Delegate on Tuesday, July 17 from 1.30pm to 4pm, located near the post office, Bombala Street
Bombala on Wednesday, July 18 from 9am to 3.30pm, located at the swimming pool car park, Therry Street
Eden on Thursday, July 19 from 9am to 4pm, located at the Tourist Information Centre car park, Mitchell Street
Pambula on Friday, July 20 from 9am to 4pm, located opposite the Royal Willows Hotel, Quondola Street
Merimbula on Monday, July 23 from 9am to 3.30pm, located near the Information Centre, Beach Street
