The open contemporary art prize offers a prize pool of more than $25,000, with the $20,000 major prize winner’s work acquired by philanthropist and businessman Basil Sellers and placed in his extensive art collection.
Entries can include 2D works of any medium, excluding photography and digital media. There is no theme but works must have been created in the past year.
The prize was established as a biennial event for artists in the Eurobodalla Shire in 2004. In 2010 the exhibition extended its reach to include entries from the Bega Valley, Cooma Monaro, Bombala and Snowy River shires.
Entries close 4pm Monday, September 10.
