Bombala golf


Bombala Golf Club lady bowlers played a Stroke for the Deb Ingram Trophy on Wednesday. 

The winner was Eva L’Estrange with a 70 nett. Balls were won by Joy Douch 72 nett and Di Ingram 76 nett on a c/b from Gay Kennedy 76 nett. NTP on the 7th was won by Gay Kennedy.

The putting competition was won by Di Ingram 28 Putts.

Saturday was the Play Off of the 4 BBB Championships.

The girls in the play off were Joy Douch and Eva L’Estrange against Georgina Withers and Dawn Douch.

The ladies played extremely well and it was very close, there was only one or two shots separating them until the last few holes.

The champions are Joy and Eva on 89 from Georgina and Dawn 93.

Congratulations to the Joy and Eva 2018 Champions and also to Georgina and Dawn it was a great match which could have gone either way.

Following this result we now have the winners of the Handicap Championships.

Congratulations to Gay Kennedy and Heather Brown who finished on 139 nett and are The Handicap Champions.

Saturday the members played a Stableford for Club Bombala Trophy.

With the very good score of 43 pts Brad Yelds was the winner.

Balls were won by Brad, Joel Cherry 42 pts, Nathan Thistleton 38 pts and Cary Elton 37 pts these chaps also having good rounds. NTP on the 17th won by Ray Crawford.

Sunday was a Stroke for Club Trophy. The Winner was Paul Halligan 65 nett.  Good result Paul. Balls went to Paul, Wayne Elton and Ross Brown 67 nett also good rounds. NTP won by Ray Fermor.

Match play:  Paul Halligan and Ross Brown defeated Ray Fermor who had to take these chaps on without his playing partner not sure or the score but well done Ray considering these two were on fire.

Delegate Pony Club

Delegate Pony Club held their monthly rally at the Delegate Showground on Sunday.  Instructors Rachel Butterworth and Rowena Butterworth put the 12 riders through their paces with riders practicing gaming and flat work.
