Many will remember when Dorian entertained guests in December 2016 with his Sinatra show and in May 2015 the Unforgettable Tribute to Nat King Cole.
The night will again feature Dorian Mode on piano and vocals, Sam Martin on bass, Chris Komorowski on guitar, Ken Vatcher on drums and Colleen Spillane on vocals.
Dorian and his swinging band will take you through Jazz at The Movies with heaps of laughs and movie trivia along the way.
A highly entertaining show, you will hear many fascinating anecdotes about the history of the songs, composers and artists who made these standards famous.
Dorian is a multi award-winning jazz pianist and composer. Dorian has performed at numerous jazz festivals and leading venues across Australia.
Bassist Sam Martin of Candelo is highly regarded in the Australian independent music scene as a bass player, sound engineer and experienced touring musician.
Sydney based guitarist Chris Komorowski was in his early teens when guitarists Tommy Emmanuel and Martin Taylor opened his ears to the possibilities of the guitar as a jazz instrument.
Ken Vatcher is the drummer of choice for many visiting performers who rely on local musicians for a rhythm section and he has been a standing member of the Margie Fullerton Trio for many years. Colleen Spillane has also appeared with the Margie Fullerton Trio on several occasions as well as many visiting artists.
