The members played a Stableford for the Late Rick Ingram Trophy on Saturday.
The lads started out on a windy but a pleasant day however, that only lasted for 9 holes when it became windy and very cold. The conditions didn’t worry Ross Brown who was the winner on 40 pts. Balls were won by Ross, Chris Halligan 35 pts, (good to see you again Chris) and Wayne Elton 33 pts. NTP won by Westy.
Match play: Ross Brown and Paul Halligan defeated Leon Jones and Merv Douch 2/1. Sunday was the Mixed Foursomes Championships over 27 Holes. Players were well rugged up to face a very cold and windy day. Although it was cold it wasn’t as bad as predicted.
Over the last couple of weeks the course has dried out and the kangaroos keeping the course very well mown. A lot of run players are finding their balls in places not expected and not always with good lies. Under these tough conditions scores are not too bad.
The Mixed Foursomes Champions for 2018 are Simon Stephen and Di Ingram 135 (second year in a row) from Steve Tatham and Joy Douch 138 and Brad Yelds and Eva L’Estrange 138.
Handicap Champions are Brad Yelds and Eva L’Estrange 102 nett from Merv Douch and Gay Kennedy 107 ¾ nett. Congratulations to these Champions.
Members without partners played a Par for Club Trophy. The winner was Tony Brady – 1. Tony also won the Ball. NTP was won by Korie Elton.

League Tag
The Bega Chicks league-tag were knocked out of grand final contention on Sunday. In the last elimination final of the year, the Bega Chicks suffered a crushing two-point loss in the final minute of play to the Eden Tigerettes in Batemans Bay on Sunday.
“We were pretty unlucky to miss the grand final as we were up with a minute to go when they scored a try and got up by two points,” spokeswoman Ali Ringland said.
The Eden Tigerettes will now face up to the Bombala High Heelers ladies league tag side in the Group 16 2018 Grand Final at Bega on Sunday.
Good luck High Heelers, bring it home!
