Pupil Robert Smith dressed as Roald Dahl’s loved character the Big Friendly Giant.
“I like the book because it has more pages than any other book I’ve read,” Robert said.
“Books are very good and funny.”
Sisters Tiah and Amy Spencer were all smiles in their costumes, with Amy saying she enjoys “challenging” books.
“Books are really awesome and they make people happy,” Tiah said.
“Some books are funny, some have facts and there’s heaps of different ones.”
