While local farmers may scoff, it’s all for art’s sake as Bombala High works to complete their Archibull Prize entry entitled “Shorn No Bull”.
Student Brieanna Hepburn wrote for the recent school newsletter that their Archibull entry is due on September 20 so there’s not long to go with the project that began in June.
“We have cut the horns off and are planning to replace them with real ram horns and painted the face to resemble a ram.
“We have all been helping with painting his back so we can have some local wool growing properties, to represent our area, using primary colours. We are all excited to see him progress until we hand him in.”
