During Saturday afternoon the Early Settlers Hut will be celebrating their 30th anniversary with billy tea, damper and music on offer and later in the afternoon wine and nibbles will be shared with the DPA committee.
Later that evening, for those with the stamina there is live music and dinner planned at the Delegate Country Club.
On Sunday morning, a special service will be held at Delegate Cemetery commemorating the first place of worship on the Monaro.
The service will also commemorate the end of WW1, 100 years ago on November 11, 1918.
“Following the service there is a march planned for those that wish to take part that will follow the original route, via Victoria Parade to the monument where the Member for Eden Monaro, Mike Kelly will unveil the plaque at the spot where the Men from Snowy River March started,” the spokesperson said.
“Then it’s back to the School of Arts where John Barilaro Member for Monaro will open the new plaza in front of the School of Arts and Mike Kelly will unveil a second Men from Snowy River plaque all followed by lunch in the School of Arts Hall.”
