The carpark overflowed as masses of locals and visitors alike gathered to admire some classics vehicles, performance machines as well as trucks, farming equipment as well as side shows, entertainment and market stalls.
Some of the quirkier inclusions on the day were the jet-powered go kart that produces around 400 horsepower of fuel burning turbine flame.
Not to be outdone, there was also a 1000 horsepower plane engine from a 1990s crop duster fired up a couple of times and a supercharged tractor, which the emcee described as being so loud “you can feel your spine shaking”.
The Flair stunt riders put on four separate displays with two of Australia’s top BMX stunt riders Josh Williams and Troy Bunning, but also seven-time Australian trials bike champion Kristie McKinnon.
Commentators said McKinnon was a bit jet-lagged after flying home from the Czech Republic, where she was competing for Australia, to be at the Motorfest.
Youngsters were also treated to slides, jumping castles, the chance to meet some reptiles, or for the more adventurous a rock-climbing wall that towered about 10 metres from the ground.
A number also joined in the impromptu chicken dance for Joshy, who is terminally ill with a rare form of cancer, but still loves to smile and dance with family and new friends.
