Event organiser Tom Herbert said everyone is invited to come along for a game of golf and join in all the fun.
“Golfers tee off around 10am and there will be many fundraising events including raffles and 100 club’s.
“However the highlight and major fundraiser for the day is an auction for a framed South Sydney football jumper that is signed by 1971 grand final players.
“The jumper has 10 signatures from the 1971 grand final including Ronnie Coote, Johnny Sattler, Gary Stevens, George Piggins and Eric Simms to name a few.
“The names are also etched into the glass on the frame,” Mr Herbert said.
The jumper is being auctioned by pickles with online bidding at pickles.com.au
Bidding on the jumper close at 4pm on the day.
Bombala Golf Club president Brendan Western said they were planning to play a four man ambrose 18 hole event and we’re hoping to tee-off around 10am.
“Everybody is welcome to turn up on the day.
“We can put people into teams or they can have their own team in they prefer.
“Handicappers and non-handicappers are welcome on the day, we’ll give everybody a game,” he said.
“Following the games, which should finish between 2.30 and 3pm, Tommy and the boys will have a barbecue lunch ready for the players and after that it’ll be the usual raffles before the auction of the framed South Sydney Jumper.
“We need as many as we can to turn up.”

The Men of League Foundation grew from a need to establish a group from the rugby league community that could provide practical assistance and social support for those people associated by rugby league.
“Whether you are an ex-player, administrator, referee, club volunteer, man, woman or child the foundation provides assistance where needed,” Mr Herbert said.
“The money may be used for surgery, rehabilitation equipment, specialist visits or for wellbeing visits to homes and hospitals to address social isolation and promote mental health in a professional and timely manner to those within the rugby league community who are in genuine need.”
