Bombala Golf, Delegate Pony Club

Pony Club

Delegate Pony Club members have been busy the last couple of months preparing for the club's annual training day and gymkhana on Saturday, November 24, where four high standard instructors coach local and adjoining district pony club riders through show jumping (Elizabeth Grenda Young), Cross Country (Peter Gillis), Sporting (Neil Duncan) and Dressage (Belinda McIntosh) with riders noticing a difference from previous years.

The club received a grant from Boco Rock Wind Farm Community Enhancement Fund which has  purchased of a full set of showjump wings (and trailer to cart them on) which along with the newly painted rails will look fantastic.

Through our grant we were also able to purchase a portable dressage arena, which will be tested out too.  Also the members have been building the highly anticipated cross country course, with each jump having 3 grades - E, D & C with mini E being catered for as well.

Sunday, November 25 is our annual Gymkhana. In preparation, at Sunday’s rally, nine riders started the day with the sporting events that will at Delegate’s Gymkhana.

An open invitation is extended to the public to pop up to Delegate on November 24 and 25 to come, have a look.
