Pony Club
Delegate Pony Club members have been busy the last couple of months preparing for the club's annual training day and gymkhana on Saturday, November 24, where four high standard instructors coach local and adjoining district pony club riders through show jumping (Elizabeth Grenda Young), Cross Country (Peter Gillis), Sporting (Neil Duncan) and Dressage (Belinda McIntosh) with riders noticing a difference from previous years.

The club received a grant from Boco Rock Wind Farm Community Enhancement Fund which has purchased of a full set of showjump wings (and trailer to cart them on) which along with the newly painted rails will look fantastic.
Through our grant we were also able to purchase a portable dressage arena, which will be tested out too. Also the members have been building the highly anticipated cross country course, with each jump having 3 grades - E, D & C with mini E being catered for as well.
Sunday, November 25 is our annual Gymkhana. In preparation, at Sunday’s rally, nine riders started the day with the sporting events that will at Delegate’s Gymkhana.
An open invitation is extended to the public to pop up to Delegate on November 24 and 25 to come, have a look.
Golf
Bombala lady golfers played a Stableford for Club Trophy on Wednesday.. Joy Douch continued with her good golf winning with 36 pts. Balls were won by Betty Crawford 33 pts and Janet Cowell 31 pts. NTP on the 5th won by Betty Crawford.
It was a quiet weekend on the course with a number of players away at the Tathra Tournament. Saturday was a Stableford for Brad Yelds Trophy. It was good to have Phillip McIntosh back on the course and his break didn’t do him any harm winning with 35 pts on a c/b from Ray Fermor 35 pts.
Sunday was a Stableford for Joe Ingram Trophy. Merv Douch was on fire coming in with a great score of 40 pts. Balls were won by Merv and Ray Crawford 35 pts. NTP on the 5th finally went off. Pepper Thompson went home with a box of balls after hitting the dance floor.

Car Club
Cooma Car Club is hosting its bi-annual Snowy Mountains Touring Classic/Surf to Summit rally for 30-year old cars and replicas over the weekend of the November 10-11.
There is a total entry of 81 cars in this years’ event and the participants are coming from far and wide to take on some spectacular Monaro, Far South Coast and Snowy Mountains roads.
On Saturday, the drivers and their passengers will enjoy some breathtaking countryside driving to the coast, with morning tea at Candelo followed by lunch at the beautiful Seahorse Inn at Ben Boyd National Park.
The drivers will then head back to Cooma for the rally dinner on Saturday night. On Sunday, the drivers will motor to Eucumbene Cove for morning tea, followed by a spectacular drive up the Snowy Mountains Highway.
The rally is open to Classic 30 years plus cars and replicas.
