As much as we need the rain it would be nice if it could fall on a Thursday because once again the Bombala ladies have missed out when the rain came down.

Members on Saturday played a 3 Ball Dropout for a Club Trophy. There was a good field for this novelty event and the winners were Nick Ryan, Joel Cherry and Ross Brown 59 4/6.
Balls went to these chaps and the team Brendan Weston, Ray Crawford & Nutter 63 2/6.
Sunday players were lucky when a storm went over in the morning and a good roll up following the quick drop of rain.
The event was a Stableford for Club Trophy.
Ray Crawford had a good round winning with 39 pts with Wayne Elton a close second on 38 pts.
Balls went to Ray, Wayne, Brendan Weston 34 pts and Ross Brown 34 pts.
Again no one hit the green on the 7th. Nest is building up.

Cricket
Berridale hosted Bombala in a T20 cricket game on Saturday under the hot sun in Berridale. Berridale won the toss and elected to bat. Berridale opened the batting with Josh Abel and Jason Harris. Berridale were 8-76 after 17 overs.
Chasing 97 for victory the Bombala batsmen were feeling very confident in chasing this target down. The openers C Brooks and M Tonks started well and scored efficiently.
Bombala were 3-49 at the halfway point.
However the turning point in the match and perhaps the greatest moment of the match was M.Sullivan (10) skying a ball high into the air with Jason Harris taking the catch. This moment completely shifted the momentum and Berridale were hungry for more wickets.
M Stephenson was run out for 1 with a good throw from Preston Hilless and the final wicket to fall was S Ingram who was trapped in front for 11 off some nice closing over bowling by Billy Small (1-6). Berridale took the victory by 14 runs in what was a thrilling game of cricket.
