“Twenty riders set off for a great adventure, riding out from Wilson’s Hut, just over the border in Bendoc for their Christmas party/rally.
“After a wet and cold ride they all enjoyed coming back to the hut to the fire going, a warm cuppa and some hot cooked food,” Ms Kidd said.
Following dinner a special presentation was held with three awards being presented from the chief instructor and president of Delegate Pony Club, Rowena Butterworth and secreatary Rachel Butterworth.
Ms Butterworth said that riders achievements had been assessed throughout the year with Dala Willoughby receiving and encouragement award.
“Steph Richardson and her horse Bonnie received an award for the most improved horse and Jess Cuzner was awarded most improved rider for the year.
“Cooper Kidd received a hat for his role of head chef and always helping out,” she said.
Delegate Pony Club rider Gabby Kidd presented a hand made card and thank you note to the pony club committee thanking them for all their hard work over the last 12 months.
“Delegate Pony Club would also like to extend their sincere thanks to Anlly-Ann Thompson for coming out and taking photos of the riders each rally and on special events, including this trail ride,” Melissa Kidd said.
