On Thursday, January 10 Ms Cotterill posted a photo of what looks like a copperhead snake at the newly built Bombala Playground.
She wrote “Please be mindful at the park as a child almost stepped on this snake in the wood chips at the flying fox. Keep your eyes peeled.”
Snowy Monaro Regional Council has a list of local snake handlers and phone numbers on their website, however there isn’t anyone listed specifically for the Bombala area.
