Mr Collins has told the Times the photo was of his parents Stan and Euna Collins nee Elliott and their 10 children.
It was taken on June 5, 1971 at the wedding of one of the Collins three sons, Arthur ’Chicken’ Collins.
Arthur Collins married Marcia Walker in Cooma at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with a reception following at the Cooma Bowling Club.
Ron tells us his sister Frances is on the left.
“Frances married Johnny Ratcliffe. Behind Frances is Joan who married John ‘Flatout’ Jones and at the back is Jennifer Collins and Philomena Collins.
“Behind Philomena is Ken Collins and in front of her is Sonia Collins who married Tony Clear in Delegate.”
Ron Collins (eyes closed) is back right.
“Then there is Denise Collins who married David Nicole of Bendoc,” Mr Collins said.
“Dad, Stan Collins and mum, Una Collins are in the front with the baby Rhonda Collins who married Ricky Ingram in Bombala.
“It was a big family of 10 brothers and sisters with Joan the eldest and Rhonda the youngest,” Ron said.
“Arthur and Sonia are both deceased, along with mum and dad,” he said.
