This Saturday the Bendoc Hall will be the venue for a ‘Celebration of the Life of Michelle Farran’. Michelle passed away from brain cancer in Canberra Hospital early on Sunday morning.

Michelle was just 51 and is survived by her 8 children (who include a past and a present president of Bombala High School) and her husband Matthew, who is the Scout Leader for 1st Cooma Scouts.
Michelle was active in numerous local organisations such as the NSW Lone Scouts, the Bombala Rotary Choir, the Bendoc SES and the Delegate School and Preschool.
She lived and worked in this area for the past 30 years in a variety of roles: as a forest officer, setting up and running a community store, as a teacher in both primary and secondary schools as well as supporting students with special needs.
Michelle was also a singer/songwriter, poet, artist and friend to many.
Everyone is welcome to come to the Celebration of Michelle’s life at the Bendoc Hall on Saturday, February 23 at 2pm which will be followed by a burial at the Bendoc Community Cemetery and a campfire wake at her home.
