Three students from St. Joseph's Primary School registered to attend Canberra Goulburn Archdiocese Rugby League Trials which were held in Canberra last Tuesday.

Alex Peisley and Arlen Hillyer registered in the open trials and Ari Sten in the 11 year trials. All three boys played exceptionally well and we at St Joseph’s are proud of their efforts.
Congratulations to Arlen Hillyer in his selection into the Open Canberra Goulburn Archdiocese Representative Team. He will now go on to play in the McKillop Trials/Championships in May 2019.
Golf
Bombala ladies played a Stableford for Club Trophy on Wednesday. Again Joy Douch played a great round of golf winning with 41 pts. Good golfing Joy. Balls were won by Jean McLean who also had a good round coming in with 38 pts and Eva L'Estrange 34 pts on a c/b from Gay Kennedy. There was no winner of the NTP on the 5th.
Saturday members played a Par for D. White Trophy. There is a lot of run on the course with the dry conditions. Bombala missing out again on any worthwhile rain.
There was some good golf played over the weekend and Chris Halligan winning the trophy with a +8. Balls went to Chris and Nathan Thistleton +6 also a good round. NTP on the 17th was won by Pepper Thompson.
Sunday was a Stroke for the Monthly Medal. Not sure what happened to Pepper Thompson overnight. Didn't have a good round on Saturday but turned it on to win the Monthly Medal. Pepper has a field day on Monthly Medal days. Pepper had the good score of 64 nett. Balls went to Pepper, Merv Douch 65 nett, Ray Fermor 66 nett. NTP on the 5th was won by Ray Fermor.

Wednesday - Ladies, Stableford for Club Trophy. Saturday - Catering for the Pennants.
Member's Saturday - Pennant at Bombala. Bombala v Coolamatong. Stableford. Club Trophy Ind Acc. Sunday: Foursomes Championships - 27 Holes. 11am. Hit Off. Duty roster Saturday - Leon Jones.
Cricket
Bombala cricketers played Jindabyne at Nijong Oval, Cooma on Saturday where light drizzle faded to sun an hour before the first ball was bowled.
Bombala lost the toss and Jindabyne chose to bowl first. Bombala were all out for 133 in the 41st over.
After the 26th over Jindabyne were 94 for 4 and with plenty of overs remaining and wickets in hand the pressure was firmly on the Bombala side.
Jindabyne chased down the total in the 34th over, winning by six wickets.
Next week Jindabyne play the Cooma Cats.
