The experiences the school provides promote a lifelong journey of continuing spiritual, moral and religious development.
"At St Patrick’s we believe that learning should be fun, stimulating, engaging and challenging," principal Jo Scott-Pegum said. "Our staff are committed to providing quality and enjoyable learning experiences.
"They take the time to know each student and nurture their growth and development.
"The principles underpinning our vision focus us toward developing creative and critical thinkers who are lifelong learners as well as growing a community of learners working in partnership and developing positive relationships.
"We provide a quality curriculum program based on the NESA requirements for schools."
The staff at St Patrick's, both teaching and ancillary, are passionate about education and promote high expectations for all.
Enrolment of students at St Patrick’s is open to children of any faith. In accordance with Archdiocesan policy, no child will be denied Catholic schooling because of an inability of parents to pay fees or levies.
For a kindergarten enrolment, the child being enrolled must turn five on or before July 31 of the year of admission.
There are several co-curricular activities too such as sport and dance. Student-led lunchtime clubs can include art, craft, drama, singing, poetry, chess, soccer, skipping and athletics.
The school weekly newsletters, Skoolbag app, Facebook and the website keep parents and the community up to date.
"We have progressed our school sustainability program and reduced our carbon footprint," Jo Scott-Pegum said. "We have established waste processes, built worm farms and compost systems and established a produce garden."
The school of St Patrick's has a strong community. Many parents, parishioners and friends of the school help to create a strong family atmosphere.
Parental involvement is encouraged and appreciated.
The Parents & Friends Association provides input on parent priorities, suggests ideas, fundraise, provides volunteers and much more.
