The annual Debutante Ball was held at the Bombala Exhibition Hall on Saturday night with five debutantes and their partners taking part.

Debutantes were Bree Browlie with Jack Merritt; Mackenzie Phillips with Lane Stevenson; Karter Hampshire with Baidon Sten; Tayla Ventry with Reagan Hurley and Brianna Hepburn with Jack Cuznor.
The theme this year was 'Homegrown Country' and the couples danced four dances including the traditional Pride of Erin Waltz, Evening Quickstep and Cha Cha.
St. Joseph's Public School students provided the entertainment performing a line dance to the music 'Achy Breaky Heart'.
Deb trainers Janet Lomas, Julie Merritt and Danny Farrell said they were impressed with the debutantes presentation and their great dancing skills.
Debutante Mackenzie Phillips made a speech in which she thanked everyone involved including the parents and partners.
Special thanks also went to Mrs Rebel Browlie for making the debutantes bouquets and to Warren Hampshire who made the deb cake.
The rest of the evening was spent dancing to the music of 'Steve and Adam'.
