It is with deep sadness we extend our deepest sympathy to Herbie Elliott. Herbie's son Stuart passed away suddenly. Stuart has had a battle for many years with his diabetes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Herbie.

Bombala lady golfers played a Stableford for Club Trophy. The winner was Jean McLean 33 pts. The ball was won by Joy Douch 29 pts. The NTP on the 13th was not won. Girls finding it hard to hit the dance floor.
Members on Saturday played a Stableford for Club Trophy. Ind. Acc. There were some very good scores over the weekend, must have been the great weather.
Joel Cherry had a good round winning with 42 pts. Nick Ryan was a close second with 40 pts. These two lads were the winners of the first two balls, with Cary Elton and Clay Stewart winning balls with 38 pts. NTP on the 17th was won by Clay Stewart.
Sunday was a Par for John Cherry's Trophy. Wayne Elton had a fantastic round, (could have been better except for the dreaded 17th hole.) Wayne had a +9 and of course was the winner. Balls were won by Wayne, Leon Jones +4, Glen Hampshire Square (great to have Glen back after a long break) and Heather Brown also came in Square. NTP was won by Brendan Weston.
Match play over the weekend. Nick Ryan defeated Ross Brown. Ray Fermor defeated Wayne Elton.

Cross Country
The Bombala High School Cross Country carnival was held at Bombala Golf Course.
Year 7 students Reide Heffernan and Rachael Babidge took out the 12 years age group with Tait McIntosh and Bridie Hampshire, also in Year 7, winning the 13 years age group. Lachie Simpson and Keera Gadd of Year 8 were victors in the 14 years age group and ran extremely well. In the 15 years age group we had a tie for first place in the girl's race with Zoe Williams and Briony Brotherton crossing the line together.
In the boys race Jack Stevenson was able to win even though he has been battling back soreness. Jack's older brother Lane took the 16 years boys race with Larissa Ponsford winning the girls. In the 17 years age group, senior students Jordan Rosten and Ellery Farran finished their last cross country race at Bombala High School in 1st place.
Winning house was Nalbaugh 312 points then Rockton on 216 and Myanba on 197.
