Save Bombala Inc has been in contact with the Save Our Councils Coalition and received legal advice on the correct form for the petition.
People will have the opportunity to sign the petition at the upcoming federal polling booths in Bombala and Delegate.
The petition is the first step in the process of demerging the former Bombala Council.
