Each year Catholic schools celebrate Catholic Schools Week by hosting events that engage their local community to assist in celebrating the uniqueness of being a Catholic school.
This year, St Joseph's commenced celebrations with a Grandparents and Special Friends day, with lots of older relatives of the pupils joining in.
A liturgy was followed by morning tea and a classroom craft session.
Later in the week, St Joseph's invited Bombala Preschool and prospective 2020 Kindergarten children to join in a Teddy Bear Picnic, followed by fun-filled games.
St Joseph's thanked all of the school community's grandparents, special friends and preschoolers for helping them celebrate Catholic Schools Week.
On Friday, May 10, St Joey's also celebrated Mother's Day with a special breakfast for mums and grandmothers.
Meanwhile, interested parents and community members are invited to attend St Joseph's' School Community Council open meeting on Wednesday evening.
Head along to have your say or just to get a feel of what goes on at a committee meeting.
SCC helps in steering the school by taking an interest in its running now and its plans into the future.
"The council will soon have a vacant position for a parent representative, so if your child's education direction is important to you, we'd love to see you there."
The meeting is being held at the school from 5.30-6.30pm on Wednesday, May 15.
