Four athletic records were broken by students from local schools when they competed in the Bombala District Athletics Carnival in May.

Bombala Public School principal, Jo Tozer said, all students should be proud of the way they represented their school and supported all students during the track and field events.
Four records were broken in the 100m track events with Delegate Public School student Charlie Matthews winning the 8 years girls 100m heat and final. Bombala's Caleb Papalii broke the 9 years boys 100m while Jake Ashton broke the 12 years boys 100m.
Bombala Public School also came away with several age champions: Maicey Ross junior girls, Joey Sullivan junior boys, Natalie Vincent 11 years girls, Josh Tellis 11 years boys and Jake Ashton - senior boys.
Overall house winners on the day were Killarney and Rosemeath, while the handicap winners were Bellview and Delegate Public School.
"Thank you to everyone who helped with time keeping and the P & C for catering," Ms Tozer said.
