Bombala Public School Aboriginal students create giant artwork for NAIDOC Week.

Monaro Family Support Service - TRAKZ program provides opportunities for Indigenous students to learn about their cultural identity and on Thursday Bombala Public School Aboriginal students had the opportunity to listen to Aboriginal stories.

The students then used the stories to design an individual artwork on a piece of cloth that will be sewn together to create a giant artwork that will be on display at the Monaro Regional Library during NAIDOC Week.

NAIDOC Week is held from July 7 to 14 and celebrates the invaluable contributions the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have made and continue to make to our communities.
