Each week the Bombala Times publishes a photo from years gone by and asks our readers if they can help identify the names of the people and when, where and why the photo was taken.

The information we gather is then published in the following edition of the Bombala Times and on Facebook.
This week's photo comes to us courtesy of Val Perkins.
It was taken at Cooma Showground and features the Bombala marching girls - otherwise known as the Magpies.
However, can you tell us the year it was taken and who are the girls pictured?
How about that man at the back with the stylish hat? (Not that the girls' hats aren't stylish of course!)
More importantly, are any of the girls, or their families still about today and want to share their story of being in a marching band?

Last week's shot of the Catholic Youth Club included John Parkes at the back and (front, from left) Betty Ferry, Don Tindale, Betty Lomas, Marg Trad, Father Lohon, Ted McKendry, Clive Ferry, Max Elton, Henry Stewart.
Be sure to check back next week for details on the Bombala Magpies.
